Our Person-Centered Education Course on Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) and DUI education is carefully tailored to meet the specific needs of each group. These in-person Saturday sessions are conveniently accessible for individuals in and around St. Cloud, Sauk Centre, Monticello, St. Francis, and Winsted, providing vital information regarding substance use and impaired driving.

We offer various program durations:

  • 8 Hour Program: $150

  • 16 Hour Program: $300

  • 24 Hour Program: $450

For individuals seeking support beyond educational settings, information on local resources, including AA and NA meetings in their specific community within Central Minnesota, can be provided upon request.

Driving With Care Program for DWI Offenders

The evidence-based Driving With Care Program is specifically designed for individuals facing Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) offenses. This virtual program is accessible from anywhere in Central Minnesota, serving individuals in St. Cloud, Sauk Centre, Monticello, St. Francis, and Winsted. It utilizes cognitive behavioral education to promote responsible driving behaviors and reduce the risk of future offenses.

We offer two levels:

  • Level 1: $250

  • Level 2: $500

This program can be a helpful resource for individuals also exploring options like DUI classes.

Sobriety First Treatment Center recognizes the vital role that peer support groups like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) and Narcotics Anonymous (NA) play in the recovery journey across Central Minnesota. While our programs offer professional guidance and education in communities like St. Cloud, Sauk Centre, Monticello, St. Francis, and Winsted, we also understand the strength and connection found in community-based meetings.

Anger Management

The Anger Management Course is a court-approved program that helps participants better understand their anger and learn healthier ways to respond to stressful situations.


The course teaches practical skills for managing emotions, improving communication, resolving conflict, and taking responsibility for personal actions. While many participants take the course to meet court, workplace, or other requirements, the program is also designed to support lasting positive change. Participants gain tools to improve self-control, make better decisions, and build healthier relationships at home, at work, and in everyday life.

 

The course is offered online through weekly classes, making it convenient to participate from anywhere. The total cost of the program is $250.

Domestic Violence

The Domestic Violence Program is designed to help individuals better understand their behaviors, improve their relationships, and meet court or legal requirements when needed. Whether you´re participating because of a court order, a recommendation from an attorney, or a personal commitment to making positive changes, this program provides practical tools and support to help you move forward.


The program focuses on building healthier communication habits, managing emotions more effectively, taking responsibility for past actions, and learning strategies to handle conflict in a respectful and productive way. Participants gain a better understanding of relationship dynamics and develop skills that support long-term positive change.


The goal of the program is simple: to help participants create healthier patterns, make better decisions, and build safer, more respectful relationships moving forward. The program is offered through weekly online sessions and includes both men’s and women’s groups, providing a supportive environment where participants can learn, share, and develop healthier ways to manage emotions and respond to challenging
situations. The total cost of the program is $750.

Payment Information for Education Programs

  • A $100 non-refundable deposit is required for all education programs

  • Accepted payment methods: Cash, Visa, MasterCard, or money order

  • Payment due at the time of service

  • Insurance coverage not available for education programs*

*Note: Exceptions apply when services are included in a client's Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment plan. In these cases, services are billed at group and individual SUD rates under Chapter 245G regulations.
